Cities of art, overflowing with culture, breathtaking vistas across unspoiled countryside, medieval villages oozing with charm—Tuscany epitomizes the romantic notion of Italy. And best of all there are world famous wines and a delightful meal around every corner of ancient stone.


Tour Highlights Include:


Day 1: Chianti and Siena

Transfer from Rome to Villa Il Castagno in Chianti for a light lunch followed by afternoon sightseeing and dinner in Siena.

Day 2: Radda in Chianti and Monteriggioni

Sightseeing in Radda. Afternoon wine tasting, olive oil sampling & light lunch in Chianti. Afternoon visit to Monteriggioni. Dinner at Villa Il Castagno.

Day 3: San Gimignano

Morning sightseeing & free time in San Gimignano. Lunch with a Vernaccia tasting along the ancient Via Francigena. Wine pairing dinner at Castell'N Villa.

Day 4: Montepulciano & Montalcino

Sightseeing & historic cantina visit in Montepulciano. Wine tasting lunch. Dinner and check in at Podere Brizio in Montalcino.

Day 5: Montalcino

Morning visit to Abbey of Sant Antimo. Winery visit & tasting at Ucceliera. Wine pairing lunch at Le Pottazzine in Montalcino. Cooking class & dinner in Bagno Vignoni.

Day 6: Pienza and Val D'Orcia

Morning visit to Pienza. Cheesemaking demo and lunch at the organic farm of Podere il Casale. Evening dining al fresco at Ristorante Poggio Antico.

Day 7: Pitigliano & the Vie Cave

Wine tasting at the Sassetti Estate. Afternoon sightseeing with lunch in Pitigliano then visit the Vie Cave, Etruscan archeological park. Return to Rome for the end of your tour.

Overnight at Rome Airport Hilton

Our tour ends in Rome and includes an overnight stay at the Rome Airport Hilton.
